Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Remote Liability Claims Examiner to handle high-end General Liability claims for a dedicated client. The role requires experience with serious injuries, complex coverage, and litigation strategy development.

You will work with clients, legal counsel, and internal teams to move cases toward timely resolution while maintaining excellent service. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and the position offers flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five years of General liability claims management experience.
• Ability to handle high exposure claims and complex scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Reviews/acts on reports and forms; responds to inquiries and resolves issues.
• Manages high end cases with serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios.
• Coordinates with clients, legal counsel, and local counsel as needed.
• Identifies settlement opportunities and develops defense strategies.
• Gathers documents and assigns tasks; monitors progress and outcomes.
• Attends mediations, trials, or hearings as required and coordinates with teams.
• Supports early return-to-work by collaborating with partners.
