The position offers a remote work arrangement with residency preferred in Colorado and a 40-hour work week, typically 9–5. Travel up to 20% may be required for meetings and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 1 year of providing support to students or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a required background check.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web tools.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, state testing, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering instruction using differentiated methods that meet the needs and goals of the student's IEP.
• Work with assistive technology to teach regular education curriculum using different methods to meet student needs.
• Co-teach and collaborate with SPED and general education teachers to share strategies.
• Coordinate with SPED teacher on requirements to meet IEP goals.
• Prepare students for standardized tests and assist with testing.
• Enter documentation and maintain records in appropriate systems.
• Communicate with families, teachers, staff and administrators regarding progress and expectations.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development.
