Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation seeks a Gene-Based Therapy Product Development Consultant - Oligonucleotide CMC to provide senior-level chemistry, manufacturing, and controls expertise for oligonucleotide therapeutics. This part-time, remote role supports NIH drug development programs and collaborators with CMOs/CDMOs to advance IND-enabling activities.

The consultant will lead cross-functional teams, map development milestones, and deliver high-quality technical recommendations across ASOs,

Qualifications

• MS/PhD/MD preferred in a relevant scientific discipline.
• At least 10 years in oligonucleotide/siRNA therapy product development.
• Experienced in senior leadership of biopharmaceutical projects and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level CMC expertise for gene-based therapeutics ad hoc on NIH teams.
• Lead or contribute to strategic development plans and milestone mapping.
• Oversee CMOs/CDMOs for manufacturing and nonclinical activities.
• Coordinate across PIs, NIH staff, and external consultants to advance IND-enabling work.
• Ensure timely, high-quality technical recommendations in a virtual team setting.
