Cognizant seeks a Gen AI Architect (Agentic AI & LLM) to design and deliver next-generation AI-powered enterprise applications. You will lead architecture for scalable Generative AI solutions, leveraging LLMs, agentic frameworks, and modern web technologies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems or enterprise software.
• Proven success delivering production-grade AI and LLM-powered solutions including agentic AI systems.
• Deep expertise with Generative AI technologies including OpenAI models, prompt engineering, vectors and AI orchestration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Strong full-stack background: ReactJS, Node.js, modern architecture.
• Ability to define technical strategy, influence decisions, mentor teams.
• Solid fundamentals: system design, scalability, testing, performance, code quality.
• Bachelor, Master or PhD in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop enterprise-scale Generative AI applications using LLMs and orchestration.
• Design Agentic AI solutions with LangGraph/LangChain or similar frameworks.
• Build scalable workflow orchestration using Temporal or similar tech.
• Define AI platform architectures including routing, prompts, observability and governance.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and measure business outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from architecture to deployment and support.
• Drive engineering best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and foster innovation and learning.
