Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking online adjunct faculty for the Undergraduate Game Design and Development program on Global Campus. This remote role engages students in asynchronous learning, providing guidance, feedback, and resources to help them achieve learning and career goals.

You will teach GAM-220 Game Programming II, advise students through discussions, and stay current in your field with practical examples. Compensation is course-based and determined at assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Game Programming, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in game programming or related field.
• Proficiency in C++; Object Oriented Programming; SOLID Framework; Visual Studio; Memory Management; Debugging Tools; Performance Optimization; Version Control (Git).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Student Engagement – Respond to students within set timeframes and proactively reach out to those needing extra support.
• Recognize student needs and connect to resources; foster participation, collaboration and strong faculty-student relationships.
• Share expertise and resources; stay current in your field and explain complex topics accessibly.
• Offer feedback & assessment; evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback within set timeframes.
• Facilitate discussions; encourage online interaction and promote inclusive, respectful dialogue.
