Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an online adjunct for the Undergraduate Game Design and Development program within Global Campus. You will guide students in an asynchronous, inclusive environment, offering feedback, resources, and experiential learning to help learners achieve goals.

The role reports to the faculty dean team and is remote from anywhere in the US (excluding California). Courses include GDE-325 Rapid Prototyping, with compensation per course.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Game Development, Interactive Media, Game Theory, Game Art, Game Programming, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of multidisciplinary game development experience
• Proficiency in Unity; Unreal; Paper/Analog Prototyping; Scripting for Prototypes; Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration; Iteration Workflow

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Student Engagement – Respond within set timeframes and reach out to students needing support.
• Share Expertise and Resources – Stay current in your field and recommend materials to enhance learning.
• Offer Feedback & Assessment – Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback within set timeframes.
• Facilitate Discussions – Encourage online discussions in an inclusive environment.
