Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an Online Adjunct faculty member for the Global Campus nursing program. The role involves teaching asynchronously, guiding students, and supporting their learning in a remote setting.

You will report to the faculty dean team and teach the IHP501 - Global Health and Diversity course. Responsibilities include prioritizing student engagement, sharing expertise, providing timely feedback, and facilitating online discussions in an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Healthcare or related discipline from a regionally accredited higher education institution.
• Registered Nurse license preferred (must be unencumbered, multi-state license from a Compact State. Must reside in Compact State).
• 2+ years of professional experience in a clinical setting, preferably global health experience.
• 2+ years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Student Engagement - Work with students by responding within set timeframes and reaching out proactively to students needing additional support.
• Share Expertise and Resources - Stay current in your field of expertise, share your experience, and recommend relevant materials to enhance understanding.
• Offer Feedback & Assessment - Evaluate student work and provide individualized, constructive feedback within set timeframes to promote growth.
• Facilitate Discussions - Encourage student interaction in online discussions and foster an inclusive environment.
