Job summary

GE Aerospace, through ERAC, seeks an experienced accounting professional to drive SAP and GAAP financial reporting and regulatory compliance. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and regulatory filings, while supporting audits and maintaining internal controls across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and insurance industry experience, with a base salary range and eligibility for discretionary bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
• Insurance industry experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SAP and GAAP financial statements with analyses and disclosures.
• Prepare periodic NAIC financial statement schedules and regulatory filings.
• Prepares account reconciliations for GAAP and STAT accounting.
• Prepares routine monthly/quarterly journal entries.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline and applying it to execute policy/strategy.
• Support internal and external audits.
