Job summary

Susan G. Komen is seeking a Fundraising Specialist to join its 100% remote fundraising team.

This role supports year-round community development, with a focus on the MORE THAN PINK Walk and Race for the Cure, recruiting and cultivating teams and fundraisers across the United States. You will meet weekly outreach and fundraising goals, maintain a robust participant pipeline, deliver status reports, and collaborate with sponsors and donors to advance revenue objectives while upholding Komen's

Qualifications

• Customer service experience including phone, text and email is a must.
• Strong recruitment skills and demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and motivation to participants.
• Excellent planning, organizational and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated professional and mature interaction with other staff and leadership sponsors, donors and others to engage them toward the achievement of revenue goals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities at one time.
• Familiarity and experience in use of fundraising and technology platforms such as Blackbaud/TeamRaiser and Salesforce preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet weekly outreach and fundraising goals.
• Maintain an ongoing pipeline of fundraising participants.
• Deliver status reports to drive relationship building, fundraising and recruitment.
• Deliver stellar relationship management as part of the overall team effort.
• Maintain working knowledge of the mission and programs to promote fundraising initiatives.
