You will engage in donor outreach, campaigns, and events to secure support for our programs and services. The role involves attending community events to promote causes, designing promotional materials, and developing strategies to increase contributions while minimizing costs.

Responsibilities

• Organize activities to raise funds, solicit donations, and gather gifts for the organization.
• Identify and build relationships with potential donors.
• Attend community events, meetings, or conferences to promote goals and solicit donations or sponsorships.
• Contact corporate representatives, government officials, or community leaders to increase awareness of causes and needs.
• Design or produce materials (posters, websites, newsletters) to promote fundraising events.
• Implement corporate fundraising programs such as employer gift-matching.
• Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions.
• Secure commitments of participation or donation from individuals and corporate donors.
• Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fundraising events.
• Develop and maintain donor databases and media contact lists.
• Set fundraising goals with the Advisory Committee for specified time periods.
• Create fundraising activity plans to maximize participation and minimize costs.
