Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Fundraising Communications & Enablement Director to lead strategy, messaging, and materials for fundraising opportunities nationwide. This fully remote role can be located anywhere in the USA, reporting to the leadership team and collaborating with regional and national partners.

You will oversee communications content, develop donor-focused strategies, and drive engagement to support fundraising goals and mission impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Travel may be required.
• Experience leading and developing communications teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop comprehensive communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent and effective messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop and execute fundraising communications campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
