Job summary

Belltower Fund Group, the funds services division of AngelList, seeks a detail-oriented Fund Accounting Operations Support for its FAST team. This full-time remote role involves supporting day-to-day fund accounting operations across investment funds, handling transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting while coordinating with cross-functional partners.

The position requires 3–5 years of fund accounting experience and a strong command of English.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in fund accounting or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits/double-entry).
• Strong attention to detail with financial data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Comfortable learning accounting software and financial systems.
• Reliable internet and ability to work remotely during US overlap.
• Experience with crypto/digital asset accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily fund accounting tasks within Flowdash workflow queues per procedures.
• Investigate and resolve variances and discrepancies promptly.
• Evaluate portfolio company events and determine valuation actions per investment.
• Assist in pulling documents for external auditors to ensure timely audits.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and capital account statements.
• Maintain and update fund accounting data across systems; perform data cleanup.
• Track task completion against SLAs and escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and documentation as FAST scales.
