Job summary

Alan is seeking a seasoned full‑stack engineer to join the Shop crew. You’ll own end‑to‑end development—from backend services and integrations to frontend flows for dynamic catalogs, checkout, and personalized member experiences.

You’ll collaborate with product, ops, legal and marketing to ship member‑facing features, ensure compliance, and drive growth across Europe while advancing a healthcare‑smart commerce platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of scalable software development across backend and frontend.

Responsibilities

• Build integrations with our customized e‑commerce back office, our in‑house virtual try‑on, suppliers and partner opticians.
• Ship member‑facing flows: dynamic catalogs, purchase flows tailored to each member's coverage, prescription scanning, returns, and out‑of‑pocket purchases like lens upgrades and extra pairs.
• Scale the catalog beyond optics with discovery and personalized navigation for thousands of products.
• Navigate legal ground: e‑commerce rules, invoicing, France's 100% Santé reform, and supplier compliance.
• Help products reach members in the Alan app, in campaigns, and through Mo, our AI health assistant.
• Work with ops on orders, deliveries and customer service, ensuring fast and reliable service.
