Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software development or related field.
• 7+ years of web programming experience in professional environments.
• 7+ years of experience with Git for collaboration in multi-person teams.
• Advanced expertise in PHP/Laravel with Eloquent, containers, queues.
• Backend experience in Rust/Go/Python is a plus.
• Strong WordPress proficiency with REST API customization.
• Proficiency in Node.js and front-end frameworks (React or Vue).
• Relational DB design (MySQL/PostgreSQL) with Redis/MongoDB familiarity.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD and Kubernetes.
• Security best practices (OWASP) and secure development.
• Ability to estimate, work independently, and deliver reliably.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using PHP/Laravel, WordPress, and NodeJS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, QA, and other team members to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize code to ensure high performance, stability, and security.
• Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews.
• Monitor application health, identify bottlenecks, and implement timely fixes.
• Collaborate with CIAT marketing and IT to translate business needs into reliable web-based solutions.
• Ensure accessibility and responsive design; adhere to CIAT brand guidelines.
