Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Full Stack Developer to lead front-end work with React and JavaScript while contributing to back-end services in Java/Spring Boot for the U.S. Transportation Command modernization project.

The role is fully remote, involves collaboration across analysts, UI/UX designers, and DevSecOps, and requires strong delivery of features with reusable patterns throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Five years of software development experience or similar role.
• Active IAT Level II certification; CompTIA Security+ CE preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and JavaScript including functional components, hooks, and state management.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS with responsive layouts and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience integrating front-end with RESTful APIs and authentication flows.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for back-end services.
• Understanding of software design principles and reusable components.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.
• Experience in Linux environments and using Jira/Confluence for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain React applications for GFM modernization.
• Collaborate with analysts and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into responsive interfaces.
• Develop reusable React components and consistent state management patterns.
• Integrate front-end with RESTful APIs and contribute to back-end services in Java/Spring Boot.
• Modernize legacy functionality while preserving essential business rules.
• Write secure, maintainable code and automated tests; participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot front-end, API, and back-end issues impacting performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to integrate apps into CI/CD pipelines.
