Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking full-stack engineers (backend leaning) to expand our payments systems. You will build and maintain usage tracking, migrate pricing and usage processing, and enable customers to upgrade and pay across multiple entities and providers.

Ideal candidates have strong Python backend skills, experience with APIs, cloud infrastructure, testing, and an ability to learn large systems quickly, while collaborating across Finance, Growth, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Python.
• Strong background in backend development.
• Experience with APIs, cloud infrastructure, storage solutions and data structures.
• Strong test design and security fundamentals.
• Care and attention to detail when changing live systems that handle money.
• Ability to learn a large existing system quickly and debug production issues.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain usage tracking so requests are metered accurately without latency.
• Lead migration of enterprise pricing and usage processing, including new stream-processing services.
• Make it easy for customers to upgrade and pay across multiple entities and providers.
• Collaborate with Finance and Tax teams to meet compliance, audit and reporting requirements.
• Enable pricing and Growth experiments with Growth and product teams.
• Troubleshoot complex billing scenarios by tracing customer experience, logs and code.
