Job summary

Turing, based in San Francisco, is seeking a skilled Full Stack JavaScript Engineer to build modern web applications and support AI model training workflows. This role spans UI, back-end services, and data management, with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

You will work across the stack using React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js, implementing scalable databases with SQLite and PostgreSQL, and contributing to AI benchmarks and tooling.

Qualifications

• Proficient in React, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Back-end experience with Node.js.
• Hands-on with SQLite and PostgreSQL.
• Familiar with RL training and AI model training workflows.
• Experience evaluating AI task quality and benchmarks.
• Proficient with AI coding tools (Codex, Cursor, Claude) and prompting.
• Ability to work independently and ship complete features from requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack web applications, from UI to database.
• Develop responsive, accessible front-ends and robust back-end services.
• Design and manage relational databases using SQLite and PostgreSQL.
• Create high-quality AI training tasks and evaluate task quality across benchmarks.
• Support reinforcement learning (RL) and AI model training workflows, including data preparation and experiment iteration.
• Leverage AI coding tools to ship faster while maintaining clean, reliable code and data.
