The role emphasizes SDLC adherence, building REST APIs and microservices, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 7/8 development.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience building REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and design principles.
• Experience with Java 8 functional programming features: Lambdas, Streams, Optional.
• Knowledge of code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java 7/8, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Lead development of components, microservices, REST APIs, and backend services per SDLC practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and development tasks.
• Write high-quality, reusable code following standards and patterns.
• Apply Java 8 functional features to improve performance and quality.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers.
• Participate in performance tuning, debugging, and production support.
• Ensure security, reliability, scalability, and compliance with standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and version control in builds.
