Job summary

Adele Carr Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer on a £400 per day contract. The role is Outside IR35 and fully remote, initially 6 months with a strong likelihood of extension, for a telematics tech business delivering cloud-based, event-driven software.

Work with Java, Micronaut, Kafka, Angular and AWS, and utilize AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code, Terraform, and CI/CD practices as part of a modern engineering team.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java.
• Experience with Micronaut; strong Spring Boot experience will also be considered.
• Experience with data streaming, ideally Kafka.
• Strong Angular experience.
• Good hands-on experience with AWS.
• Proven experience using AI-assisted coding tools and techniques, particularly Claude Code.
• Terraform.
• Cucumber or similar automated testing frameworks.
• CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
