Job summary

Nametag is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build integrations that place Nametag inside customers’ systems. You’ll create backend services, APIs, and connectors across platforms like Workday, ServiceNow, Slack, Okta, ICIMS, and UKG, while also building configuration UIs and webhook-driven workflows.

We value engineers who can navigate varied auth models, rate limits, and vendor changes. You’ll contribute to tooling, documentation, and scalable patterns in a remote-first team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and operating production software.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs in production.
• Backend skills in Go, Node.js, Python, or Java; frontend React for configuration UI.
• Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and webhooks.
• Relational databases experience, PostgreSQL preferred.
• Cloud experience, AWS preferred.
• Strong communication and judgment in a remote, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build connectors into third-party enterprise platforms: authentication, data flow, event handling, and verification in host apps.
• Build Nametag-side APIs, services, and webhooks each integration depends on.
• Develop the console configuration and setup experience customers use to install and operate the integration.
• Take integrations through marketplace and app review processes and gating requirements.
• Work across unfamiliar platforms and gain productive speed in APIs and extensibility models.
• Handle OAuth/OIDC/SAML/SCIM and adapt to platform-specific implementations.
• Own reliability and observability for integrations and ensure backward compatibility.
