Job summary

Affirm is seeking a software engineer for a remote Canada role on the Card Acquisition team. You will work with a dynamic, globally distributed engineering group to build web and mobile experiences, APIs, and scalable systems.

Candidates should have 1.5+ years of experience, proficiency with React or Vue, React Native, API design with Kotlin or Python, and a track record of delivering well-tested code.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs with Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to write clear, testable, extensible code and work with large code bases.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and decisions.
• Create and monitor metrics, support on-call efforts and keep systems running.
