Job summary

Seeq is seeking an exceptional frontend engineer to evolve our frontend system and design language for a data-dense enterprise product. You will shape UI primitives and the broader frontend foundations used across teams to deliver clear, high-quality experiences.

You will drive architecture, component APIs, and reusable patterns, while embracing open-source tools like Zustand, TanStack Query, and StyleX to fit Seeq’s product and workflows with a bias toward quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development and evolution of complex systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and HTML primitives.
• Experience designing, building, or evolving shared frontend systems such as design systems or component libraries.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, state management, data flow, and performance.
• Ability to design reusable components with accessible, responsive APIs and long-term maintainability.
• Experience leading large frontend refactors or migrations across production apps.
• Judicious use of open-source frontend technologies and extending tools rather than bespoke solutions.
• Ability to diagnose root causes of frontend defects and performance issues.
• Experience creating clear technical docs, conventions, and examples for engineers.
• Ability to influence technical direction through reviews, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration.
• Strong product sense, partnering with designers and product teams for consistent experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution of Seeq’s frontend system, improving component quality and developer experience.
• Build reusable patterns and infrastructure for AI-driven development and modernization.
• Leverage open-source ecosystems (Zustand, TanStack Query, StyleX) with thoughtful adaptation.
• Ensure high-quality refactors and cross-team rollout of new patterns and libraries.
• Collaborate with teams relying on infrastructure to roll out changes smoothly.
• Communicate rationale behind design decisions and create adoptable systems for teams.
