Gains.com is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to own features across the web, mobile, and backend on a small, AI-native engineering team. You’ll ship end-to-end, with tests and monitoring, and have meaningful input on architecture, prioritization, and tradeoffs.

You’ll collaborate with design and product, design scalable data schemas, and improve the developer experience in a remote-first environment with flexible hours and a competitive salary in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack experience.
• Advocate for CI/CD automation, high test coverage, and scalable design.
• Experience designing and querying relational databases at scale.
• Working knowledge of cloud providers (GCP preferred) and IAM, logging, tracing.
• Strong testing discipline: unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Strong product sense: ability to weigh trade-offs and ship minimal viable changes.

Responsibilities

• Build features end-to-end across Angular web app, Flutter mobile app, and Node.js backend.
• Design schemas, write queries, and ensure transactional correctness.
• Ship to production multiple times weekly behind CI/CD with tests and rollback paths.
• Review teammates' code with care; expect the same in return.
• Collaborate with design and product to scope work before scoping up.
• Improve the monorepo tooling, test harness, deploy pipeline, and observability.
• Leverage AI coding tools as part of daily workflow.
