Job summary

Parabolic Surf, a discretionary trading firm, is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build and evolve Surf, our React/NestJS stack, and to own multiple layers of the platform and infrastructure.

You will contribute to the analytics platform for trade performance, work with Python and Rust components, and help modernize from C# to Rust while improving reliability with automated tests and integrations. AI-driven engineering is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production experience with Node.js/NestJS and Python.
• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Fintech/crypto/domain experience.
• Daily use of AI tooling to speed development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale Surf across React frontend and NestJS service layer.
• Expand analytics platform for trade performance and market data.
• Migrate old C# microservices toward Rust.
• Maintain automated integration testing across gRPC, REST and UI layers.
• Prototype Python and Node.js utilities for data workflows.
