Job summary

Peraton seeks a full-time Applications Programming Associate to support critical missions within the Risk Decision Group (RDG). An entry-level developer role, it emphasizes full-stack development, data engineering, ETL pipelines, and reporting in an Agile environment. This position is 100% remote.

You will design, develop, and optimize web and database solutions, ETL pipelines, and reporting frameworks that support mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret eligible clearance.
• U.S. citizenship
• 1+ years relevant work experience with BS/BA
• Experience supporting and developing custom web-based applications
• 1+ years of experience Angular
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio

Responsibilities

• Develop applications based on specifications provided by software developers or stakeholders.
• Create, modify, and test code, forms, and scripts to support application functionality.
• Conduct testing and trial runs to validate accuracy and performance of applications.
• Maintain, update, and improve existing programs to increase efficiency and adapt to new requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Document data lineage, processes, and technical specifications to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Develop advanced T-SQL queries, including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Analyze, review, and enhance programs using workflow charts, diagrams, and logical design techniques.
• Develop and support reporting solutions using SSRS, including dataset design.
• Develop solutions for data storage, retrieval, and system integration.
• Partner with technical and business teams to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
• Support systems analysis and programming efforts to maintain and control system software.
• Assist in analyzing user needs and designing effective software solutions.
