Job summary

LSAC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join an autonomous agile team developing features and applications for law school admissions platforms. The role emphasizes operational maintenance, troubleshooting, and AI-enabled development using GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and RAG techniques.

The candidate will collaborate across teams, promote accessibility, and contribute to AI feature design such as chat interfaces and intelligent search while aligning with responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• Strong experience with object-oriented languages and web technologies.
• Hands‑on with Git and code management methodologies; experience with automated testing.
• Experience with relational and unstructured data repositories; SQL Server/Oracle knowledge.
• Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, Lean or other agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of React, .NET Frameworks (Web Forms/Web API), JavaScript, and SPA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to design, configure, maintain, and promote applications with accessibility in mind.
• Monitor, test, and optimize software for reliability and architectural compliance.
• Contribute to continuous code delivery with deployment tools and automated testing.
• Scale software to support dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Build and maintain scalable applications; work with product managers and stakeholders.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging, ensuring code quality and security.
• Contribute to Generative AI features (chat interfaces, document summarization, search) using Azure OpenAI and related APIs.
• Integrate RAG pipelines with vector databases to ground AI outputs in enterprise data.
