Job summary

LCG, Inc. seeks a Full Stack Developer / AI Engineer - Associate to support NIH with AI-powered solutions using Azure OpenAI, LLMs, and RAG. You will design Generative AI apps, chatbots, and automation tools to streamline NIH processes.

Responsibilities include building React front-ends, FastAPI services, and vector DB pipelines, while ensuring compliance with NIH cloud governance and security standards. Collaboration with leadership and pilot users is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years applying AI/ML to real-world technology solutions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure OpenAI services.
• Experience designing AI-powered applications using LLMs or Generative AI technologies.
• Experience developing RAG pipelines, AI chatbots, or intelligent automation tools.
• Strong programming in Python, with API development using FastAPI.
• Experience building front-end interfaces using React or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with vector databases to support semantic search or AI retrieval workflows.
• Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered applications using Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
• Design Generative AI applications, intelligent agents, and chatbots to automate internal processes.
• Implement semantic search and document retrieval systems to support knowledge retrieval.
• Enhance and maintain client AI tools to improve user experience and accuracy.
• Develop AI use cases such as policy analysis, scheduling, and monitoring of activities.
