Job summary

Great Media Technologies seeks a proactive Full Stack Developer with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience for a fully remote role. Candidates must currently reside in Kolkata to facilitate occasional meetups and onboarding.

You will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications end-to-end, collaborating with product, design, and QA to ship clean, tested code using Node.js/Express and React.js, with PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of professional full-stack web development experience.
• Must currently reside in Kolkata.
• Proficient in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/Tailwind CSS, and state management tools (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).
• Backend: Node.js and Express.js.
• Databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB.
• Version control with Git/GitHub.
• Deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, Render) and containerization (Docker) is a strong plus.
• Remote setup with reliable home office, high-speed internet, and power backup.

Responsibilities

• Full Lifecycle Development: Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end features using Node.js/Express for backend services and React.js for front-end interfaces.
• API Architecture: Build, document, and consume RESTful APIs; GraphQL experience is a plus.
• Database Management: Write, optimize, and maintain schemas and queries across PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB.
• UI/UX Implementation: Translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible interfaces.
• Code Quality & Testing: Write unit/integration tests, perform code reviews, optimize performance.
• Collaborative Remote Workflow: Participate in agile daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retros with Jira, Slack, and Git/GitHub.
