Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong React expertise to join our U.S. Transportation Command – Global Freight Management (GFM) modernization team.

This role will take ownership of front-end development using React and JavaScript while contributing to back-end services built with Java and Spring Boot. The developer will help modernize enterprise applications that support military freight transportation, transforming complex business requirements into intuitive,

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of software development experience.
• Hands-on React and JavaScript; strong front-end expertise.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot back-end services.
• Experience integrating front-end with RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in HTML/CSS and responsive design.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and code reviews.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance; IAT Level II.
• Security+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain React applications for GFM modernization.
• Collaborate with analysts and UI/UX designers to implement interfaces.
• Develop reusable React components and consistent state management patterns.
• Integrate React with RESTful APIs and back-end services in Java/Spring Boot.
• Modernize legacy functionality while preserving business rules.
• Write secure, maintainable code and automated tests; participate in reviews.
• Mentor other developers in React and front-end practices.
• Troubleshoot front-end, API, and back-end issues; ensure performance and reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments across environments.
• Coordinate with testers to validate features and acceptance criteria.
