Job summary

Altamira.ai is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer (Node.js + React) for a long-term outstaffing engagement on an international client project. You will be integrated into the client team and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders on both backend and frontend work.

You will work with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, maintain legacy PHP/Laravel code, and own features end-to-end in a distributed team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of backend architecture patterns (layered, modular, separation of concerns).
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and performance in Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and evolve RESTful APIs.
• Maintain and extend PHP/Laravel services.
• Build and maintain complex front-end applications using React.
• Collaborate with client team on feature development and technical decisions.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Work with legacy systems to improve stability and maintainability.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end from implementation to delivery.
• Contribute to performance, reliability, and scalability improvements across the full stack.
