Altamira is seeking a Full-Stack Developer (Node.js + React) for a long-term, fully remote engagement with an international client. You will be fully integrated into the client’s team, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Key focus areas include building backend services with Node.js/TypeScript, maintaining PHP/Laravel services, and delivering scalable React front‑ends. Strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Node.js production experience.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of backend architecture and async programming.
• Experience with SQL databases and migrations.
• Knowledge of authentication (JWT/OAuth).
• Ability to write unit/integration tests.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel in production.
• Legacy PHP/Laravel codebase debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and evolve RESTful APIs.
• Maintain and extend PHP/Laravel services.
• Build and maintain complex React front-end applications.
• Collaborate with client team on features and decisions.
• Ensure code quality via tests and reviews.
• Work with legacy systems to improve stability and maintainability.
• Take ownership of end-to-end features.
