CVS Health is seeking a full-time Automation Engineer in a remote-capable role focused on building a Software Driven Enterprise. You will learn and contribute within a two-year program, receive training, and work on automation, IT security, and data-driven initiatives.

The role emphasizes Agile, DevSecOps, and XP practices while supporting a Fortune 6 company. We value candidates with 1+ year IT experience, cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS/GCP), and coding skills in Python, PowerShell, and YAML.

Qualifications

• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS or related degree preferred.
• 1+ years of IT position experience (academic or professional).
• 6+ months of programming, developing, or coding experience.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, YAML, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, and deploying enterprise apps (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud concepts/providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes/Terraform.
• Experience with data integration and relational/non-relational databases.
• Experience with cybersecurity and network security principles (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
• AI/ML concepts strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting existing applications and development efforts.
• Write high-quality code compliant with enterprise regulations.
• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for new technologies.
• Create and execute test scenarios/plans for new/changed components.
• Share knowledge openly with IT peers.
• Work within Agile/XP/Kanban delivery frameworks.
