Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Software Developer (Frontend) to provide expert front-end design and development for USAF mission support. You will create tech designs, mockups, wireframes, and documentation for PMO review, and implement GUI improvements, UI elements, and optimized navigation for user-facing features.

This remote role requires an active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain a CI Poly, with 7+ years in software development, Jira usage, and cloud deployment experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s may substitute for 2 years.
• 7 years of software development experience in OO and scripting languages with DevSecOps, microservices and containers.
• 3 years of experience with Jira and testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience in software development programs or projects.
• Experience in cloud environments and integrating data from unclassified to classified deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end design and development tasks including mockups, wireframes and documentation for PMO review.
• Plan and implement GUI modifications and optimize UI elements for user-facing features.
• Improve navigation and operator ease-of-use for web apps.
• Engage in agile, user-centric design to ensure best-of-breed UI/UX practices.
• Prepare, conduct and document system tests for releases.
