Select Source Solutions is seeking a remote Frontend Software Engineer focusing on React and TypeScript to deliver modern, accessible web applications. You will work with designers, product stakeholders, and backend engineers to translate designs into responsive interfaces in a remote work environment.

The role emphasizes strong React/TypeScript development, UI/UX understanding, testing, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, IT, or related technical field.
3+ years in production web apps using React and TypeScript.
Strong React skills: hooks, components, composition patterns.
Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills.
Strong HTML/CSS with accessibility and responsive design.
Experience integrating front-end with REST/JSON APIs.
Experience with automated tests (Vitest, Jest, RTL) and E2E tests (Playwright or Cypress).
Git workflows, CI/CD, and modern build tooling (Vite, npm, Yarn).
Able to collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders.
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain production web apps using React and TypeScript.
Develop reusable React components with hooks and composition.
Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible applications.
Build interfaces with semantic HTML and modern CSS.
Develop styling solutions with Sass, MUI, USWDS, StyleX, or equivalents.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to refine user flows and ensure consistency.
Integrate front-end apps with REST/JSON APIs and backend services.
Implement asynchronous behavior, loading states, errors, pagination, and authenticated requests.
Develop automated tests (unit, component, integration, E2E) with Vitest/Jest/RTL/Playwright.
Participate in Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Use modern front-end tools like Vite, Yarn, npm, and private registries.
Contribute to design discussions and evaluate implementations for usability and performance.
Collaborate with backend, systems, analytics, and product stakeholders.
