Job summary

BlueTread is seeking a Front-end Software Engineer focused on React Native to build robust interfaces that connect customers with backend systems. You will collaborate with product, design, and API teams to deliver a scalable front-end architecture for iOS and Android.

You will write tests, ensure performance, and own front-end layers from UI to API integration, while thriving in a remote-first, US-based team culture that values collaboration and rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 2+ years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in React Native framework for mobile application development.
• Experience with Redux or other state management libraries for React Native.
• Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and experience with networking in mobile applications.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience working with wireframes.
• Familiarity with security best practices in mobile application development.
• Experience programming with the Swift Language on iOS.
• Proficiency in using source-code management systems like Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading and participating in teleconferences on platforms like Teams.
• Must be located in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with development teams and designers to create web applications that run seamlessly on multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to enhance front-end performance.
• Understand client requirements to build applications within stipulated timelines and budgets.
• Plan and implement the data and presentation layers of the application’s front end.
