Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Front-End Engineer II for a remote, full-time role. You will build and enhance single-page applications, collaborate with API engineers, designers, and product owners, and contribute to component libraries and accessibility within a Scrum team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years constructing SPAs with modern JavaScript frameworks, strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals, and experience with ES2015+, Node.js, and Gulp.

Qualifications

• 3+ years developing and architecting single page applications with Ember/React/Angular/Vue
• Demonstrated mobile-first, responsive design implementation
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
• Experience creating reusable components or libraries across applications
• 1+ year with ES2015+ and Node.js
• Experience with Gulp.js or similar build tools
• Experience writing unit, integration, and acceptance/UI tests
• Experience in agile scrum environment
• Comfort using AI tools in development workflows
• Proficiency with React for modern feature development and migration from Ember

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile-first single page applications for various devices
• Convert mockups into reusable components
• Maintain and extend JavaScript code and legacy plugins
• Validate accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
• Lint, test, and maintain code quality
• Write clean, reusable code per standards
• Assist with bug discovery in development environments
• Participate in front-end and scrum ceremonies
• Maintain code libraries and document specs
• Research solutions and contribute to code reviews
• Mentor associate front-end engineers and interns
