Job summary
Maximus is seeking a Software Developer (Frontend) to support the USAF mission from a remote location in the United States. You will translate requirements into polished front-end features, build technical designs, and create wireframes and UI components to optimize navigation and user experience.
The role requires 7+ years in software development, strong DevSecOps exposure, cloud experience, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly. Travel up to 10-20% may be required.

- 3+ years of bug tracking software experience (e.g., Jira) and testing web apps.
- Experience in cloud environments and CI/CD toolchains.
- Experience with multi-service, containerized deployments.
Responsibilities
- Develop front-end design and development tasks including mockups, wireframes, and UI documentation.
- Plan and implement GUI modifications and optimize UI elements for efficient navigation and usability.
- Collaborate with PMO and stakeholders on requirements and technical design drawings.
- Contribute to testing strategies and ensure quality through systems testing.

- 7 years of overall experience in the functional area. Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
- 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers tool suites.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests.
- 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and testing web-based applications.
- 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.
- Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
- Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
- 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
- 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
- 3 years of recent front-end web design and development experience.
- Demonstrated experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX practices.
- Required Certifications: DCWF Code: 632 Intermediate
- Role may require travel to a site 10-20% of the time.
