Job summary

Covestic Inc. is seeking a Computer Vision & Analytics Engineer to own the CV/ML platform and act as the subject matter expert for security video analytics.

You will design data pipelines that ingest and transform camera data into actionable metrics, while ensuring scalability and security alignment with zero-trust constraints. You will collaborate with Security Technology Lead and IT teams, evangelize the platform internally, and extend use cases beyond security across enterprise units.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering background transforming visual data into quantitative metrics.
• Strong Python skills for model integration, pipeline development and automation tasks.
• Experience with video analytics platforms and ML capabilities in production.
• Track record integrating CV/ML with physical security frameworks such as VMS.
• Solid enterprise network knowledge, especially zero-trust and inbound constraints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication translating tech to stakeholders.
• Ability to own a growing platform with well-structured docs from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own the computer vision and video analytics platform and define direction and roadmap.
• Serve as SME and product owner for video, image, and CV analytics across GSIS.
• Architect ingestion, inference, and transformation layers turning visuals into metrics.
• Ensure pipelines scale, perform, and remain reliable as data grows.
• Evaluate and integrate industry CV/ML tools balancing performance and security.
• Promote platform value across other business units and use cases.
• Document data flows, metric definitions, and platform architecture for stakeholders.
