Job summary

Immerse is seeking experienced French and English or Spanish language instructors to teach adult professionals using its immersive language learning platform. Instructors work with small groups in realistic environments, such as meetings and cafés, to build real-world fluency.

The role emphasizes communicative teaching, collaboration with the team, and ongoing professional development. Sessions are fully remote and paid for instructional time, with onboarding and preparation time included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of structured French and English or Spanish language teaching experience
• Experience teaching adult learners in group settings of 8+ learners
• Advanced French and English or Spanish proficiency (C1 CEFR or ACTFL Advanced High)
• If teaching French and Spanish (not English), minimum B2-level English proficiency is required
• Comfortable using technology and learning new platforms

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured French and English or Spanish communicative lessons with adult learners
• Guide learners through real-life scenarios such as meetings, travel, or professional communication
• Provide feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and fluency
• 40-minute sessions
• Communicate proactively with the instructional team
