Job summary

Alignerr is seeking French language experts to evaluate and improve AI systems for French learning and communication. Your linguistic insight and teaching background will shape how AI understands, assesses, and teaches French, impacting learners globally.

This remote, hourly-contract role requires at least 15 hours per week. Responsibilities include evaluating AI-generated French, assessing learner performance across CEFR levels, and providing structured feedback to strengthen AI tutoring.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in French.
• Experience teaching French or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2).
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Detail-oriented with principled linguistic judgment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated French speech and text for accuracy and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels from Pre-A1 to B2+.
• Identify errors, awkward phrasing, and gaps in pedagogy.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI tutoring and models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and language experts.
• Help raise the quality and reliability of AI-powered French instruction.
