Ascension is seeking a remote Logistics Operations Assistant to support freight management activities and performance analysis. The role involves shipment coordination, data reporting, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure efficient movement of supplies.

Primary duties include preparing reports and dashboards, analyzing metrics, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Operations Logistics department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma equivalency or enrolled in an accredited program relevant to the discipline.
• Experience or coursework in logistics, operations, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support freight management operations by assisting with logistics activities, shipment coordination, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with freight management associates, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to support transportation activities and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using Excel, Tableau, Google Workspace to support freight management performance tracking.
• Analyze freight management data and performance metrics to identify trends and contribute data-driven recommendations.
• Assist with development, maintenance, and communication of freight management documentation and policies.
• Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives to support freight management operations.
