Job summary

Logoslabs is seeking a Session Director for Project Hydrus to lead live recording sessions with voice contributors, guiding them through scripted scenarios to produce natural, conversational audio.

You will coach performers, adapt wording for natural phrasing, monitor mic technique and room noise in real time, and keep sessions moving toward targets while maintaining a supportive environment for all experience levels.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in the required language with dialect
• Experience directing or producing voice or audio talent
• Ability to give clear, specific, actionable performance direction
• Strong working knowledge of mic technique, room noise, levels
• Comfort improvising and adjusting scripted material on the spot
• Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport building

Responsibilities

• Direct voice performers through scripted scenarios, coaching for natural, conversational delivery
• Build quick scene context for performers and improvise to fill gaps live
• Adapt scripted wording for natural phrasing and regional authenticity
• Monitor and correct technical audio quality in real time: mic technique, pacing, clarity, background noise
• Manage session pacing to meet recording targets while maintaining quality
• Create a supportive, low‑pressure environment for performers of varying experience levels
