Frida is seeking a freelance Paid Social - Performance Video Editor to join our team. You will edit performance-focused video ads for Meta and TikTok using raw footage, UGC, product footage, scripts, voiceovers, and creative briefs.

You should have experience with direct-response or e-commerce ads, and a strong instinct for hooks, pacing, retention, and platform-native formatting. This is a fully remote, ongoing freelance role with flexible hourly or project-based structure.

Qualifications

• Experience editing direct-response or e-commerce ads.
• Ability to create performance-focused social video ads.
• Strong editing judgment to identify strongest moments from raw footage.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form paid social ads for Meta and TikTok.
• Create UGC-style and product-demo ads that convert.
• Turn raw footage and scripts into ready-to-test ads.
• Develop variations for ongoing testing.
• Test hooks, pacing, captions, visuals, and CTAs.
• Use b-roll, on-screen text, motion graphics, sound, and pattern interrupts to improve retention.
• Adapt creative based on performance feedback and learnings.
• Create platform-native ads that feel organic but convert.
