BSSP is seeking a Freelance BI Analyst to cover a leave on the Marketing Science team. Remote role based in the US (PST). Dates roughly 12/7–4/30. Please include an hourly rate with submission.

Responsibilities include loading and validating data in Snowflake, building dashboards in Tableau, and delivering data-driven recommendations for campaign optimization. Strong SQL and Python skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in BI/marketing analytics or related field.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience with Snowflake data loading and schema management.
• Proven ability to build dashboards in Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills with complex formulas/pivots.

Responsabilités

• Load, validate, and manage raw data in Snowflake with schema alignment.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc campaign reports and dashboards using SQL, Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Identify KPIs and forecast performance based on historical benchmarks.
• Collaborate with marketing, media, and operations to ensure proper tracking before campaigns.
• Integrate data from GA, Meta, Google Ads/SA360, Campaign Manager 360 for unified views.
• Perform deep-dive analyses and provide data-backed optimization recommendations.
• Design QA processes to validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Build and optimize SQL queries and data transformations for scalable reporting.
• Leverage Python for advanced analysis and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Translate findings into clear narratives and visuals for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document data definitions and reporting methodologies for continuity.
