Butler Shine Stern & Partners is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to cover a leave. This remote role supports the Marketing Science team and reports to the Analytics Director. The engagement runs roughly December through April and follows Pacific Time hours for US-based work.

You will load and validate data in Snowflake, develop dashboards in Tableau, and perform analyses to drive data-informed decisions. Strong SQL, Python, and digital analytics experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in BI, marketing analytics, or a closely related field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for large datasets.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience: loading data, schemas, tuning.
• Proven ability to build dashboards in Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with complex formulas and charts.
• Experience with digital analytics platforms (GA, Meta, SA360, Campaign Manager 360).
• Ability to define KPIs and build performance projections or benchmarks.
• Strong storytelling to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent collaboration with marketing, media, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Load, validate, and manage raw data in Snowflake with correct schema alignment.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards using SQL/Tableau/Sheets.
• Identify KPIs and project performance using historical benchmarks.
• Collaborate with digital teams to ensure proper tracking and measurement.
• Integrate data from GA, Meta, SA360, and Campaign Manager 360 for unified views.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses and provide data-backed optimization recommendations.
• Design QA processes to validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Build efficient SQL queries and data transformations for scalable analytics.
• Use Python for advanced analysis and automation where appropriate.
• Translate findings into clear narratives and visuals for stakeholders.
• Document data definitions and methodologies to ensure continuity.
