Job summary

Rain is seeking a skilled Fraud Risk Analyst to own metrics, dashboards, and real-time monitoring for fraud signals. You will design and deploy predictive ML controls, balance risk with customer experience, and collaborate with GTM teams to quantify business value. A strong quantitative background and autonomous working style are essential.

You will analyze complex data, summarize insights for leadership, and support partners dealing with fraud concerns across the traffic ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with automated fraud risk strategies and experimentation (A/B tests).
• Experience with real-time and offline predictive ML models.
• Designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and fraud risk metrics.
• Ability to manage ambiguous problems and find solutions.
• High autonomy with strong workload prioritization.
• Quantitative bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Own the metrics, dashboards, and reports that inform business strategy and decision-making.
• Design and implement real-time monitoring systems for fraud signals and alert thresholds.
• Design, simulate, and implement real-time risk controls using ML models.
• Balance risk controls with customer experience by focusing on loss savings and margin.
• Partner with GTM teams to demonstrate the value of risk controls to customers.
• Summarize complex analytical results to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist partners when they have fraud concerns with their traffic.
