Job summary

Rain is seeking an experienced fraud risk engineer to own real-time monitoring and ML-driven risk controls for our payments platform in the United States. You will design dashboards, run A/B experiments, and partner with GTM teams to quantify technical and business value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience building automated fraud risk strategies and experiments (A/B tests).
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and fraud metrics.
• Strong SQL and Python capability with data storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own metrics, dashboards, and reports informing business strategy.
• Design real-time monitoring systems for fraud signals and alerts.
• Build real-time and offline predictive ML models for risk controls.
• Balance risk controls with customer experience and margins.
• Collaborate with GTM teams to show value of risk controls.
• Summarize analytical results for leadership and stakeholders.
• Assist partners with fraud concerns on their traffic.
