Job summary

Warren Whitney is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to serve as a fractional, interim, or project-based advisor to multiple client businesses in a full-time role eligible for benefits. You will lead strategic financial planning, risk management, and performance improvements while shaping client portfolios with autonomy and firm support.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Experience in both public accounting and nonprofit/private sector employment.
• Expertise in planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting; strong analytical skills.
• Strategic thinker who can develop financial strategies and mitigate risk.
• Excellent communication to build relationships with leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Financial Planning & Analysis, developing strategies to support growth and profitability.
• Oversee Cash Flow and Cost Management with forecasting and risk mitigation.
• Provide Financial Decision Support in collaboration with department leaders.
• Manage Relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and regulators.
