Job summary

National MI seeks a Manager, FP&A - Budgeting & Sales Planning, to lead planning, budgeting, and analytics across Sales and FP&A. You will partner with Sales, Finance, HR, and Ops to ensure accurate forecasts and transparent performance metrics.

You will manage dashboards, provide actionable insights, and mentor analysts in a fast-paced environment. Remote position with SF Bay Area preference, competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years FP&A, budgeting, forecasting or related finance roles.
• Experience with sales forecasting, pipelines, and variance analysis.
• People-management experience is a plus.
• Strong modeling, analytical, and business-partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual sales planning, quota and territory analyses.
• Oversee recurring sales forecasting, performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales, HR and Finance on compensation analyses.
• Maintain analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Manage operating budget and reforecast processes.
• Explain variances to leadership with clear narratives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Mentor analysts and support ad hoc analyses.
