Job summary

Mercor seeks an experienced FP&A Expert for a remote, UK-based contract. You will build planning scenarios, own P&L insights, and translate data into strategic spend and headcount decisions. Collaboration with global teams and clear stakeholder communication are essential.

The role is an hourly contract from 10 August 2026 through 4 September 2026, with weekend and evening communications as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, and rolling forecasts.
• Monthly variance analysis and budget-to-actual reporting.
• Based in the United Kingdom with the right to work there.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality financial planning scenarios using FP&A, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Review and evaluate financial data to enhance AI training datasets.
• Translate accounting actuals into spending, headcount, and growth decisions.
• Explain financial tradeoffs to non-finance stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate within UK business-hours and participate in live team sessions, occasional evenings.
